Hi, my name is Kari and I am a big  advocate for Interactive Medicine.  Early in my massage career I realized that physical

manipulation of soft tissue was often not enough to

help clients achieve deep relaxation and heal.

So I began developing Interactive Body Awareness lessons that assist clients to enter a deep state of relaxation,

& forge a life changing mind-body connection.

I have been doing Massage for the past 17 years. I graduated from

The Touch of Life School of Massage and am certified in a

variety of Massage techniques such as Neuro Muscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Assisted Stretching, Thai Massage & Thai Yoga.

In 2007 I graduated from Caroline Myss 4 year Sacred Contract course and   In 2009 I graduated from a course held by

The Academy of Guided Imagery and received recognition for combining Body Awareness with Massage by Norm Shealy M.D. Ph. D.

This program came from my professional experience

but what makes this program truly unique is the wisdom that comes from my own healing experiences.

My Belief:

I believe there is wisdom in every one of us, and I am dedicated to researching, developing, and teaching

effective methods to access and act on that inner wisdom.

My Mission:

• To further my understanding of the Mind-Body connection and

how it can be used to heal, inspire, & create by continuing to explore cutting edge ideas and innovative mind-body applications.

• To provide easy to use, high quality training and guidance for the average person, massage therapists, and educators who desire

to learn how to access, and use the

power of imagery and the mind/body connection for healing.

My Vision:

• I imagine a health care system that encourages the patient/client to take a responsible and active role in the healing process.

• I imagine patients/clients actively accessing and using their innate healing abilities through the power of the mind/body connection.

• I imagine a whole new type of health care providers, massage therapists, and educators - those who have developed special expertise in the mind/body connection that allows them to skillfully support the maximum healing potential of their patients/clients.

When I’m  not spreading my healing message, I enjoy yoga, kayaking, surfing the Internet, spending time with family and

walking with my dog Henry.
